Humanity has a belief system that holds the idea that people are all connected to the world somehow one way or another that goes beyond the knowledge and reality that has been set throughout the ages. But what is having collective spiritual energy truly mean?

Collective Consciousness

Collective consciousness refers to a set of shared beliefs that people have acquired from people in the past and continues to be practiced in the present. This knowledge could include ideologies, values, beliefs, norms, and moral compasses.

Having collective spiritual energy or consciousness allows everyone to seek answers from within regarding life, spirituality, and the universe itself. In other words, understanding how humans connect to nature and someone else creates a sense of unity.

This is the reason why people who don’t know each other or live on the other side of the planet can empathize and share the same sentiments when learning about certain news that can trigger emotional responses like fear, happiness, or anger.

Spiritual Awakening

The field of humanities and science tried to understand this construct by giving words for it like enlightenment, self-realization, transcendence, awakening, or any other terms to describe the higher states of consciousness. French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin even once said that “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

Spiritual awakening has been around for centuries and refers to the moment where humanity takes a step back to recognize and realize that there are things beyond one’s control and that there are more things greater than oneself.

This consciousness gives a person a unique perception and wisdom about the world and at the same time leaves a feeling of awe for the greatness and mysteries of life.

Whatever term it is to describe people’s shared energy and relatedness, one thing is for sure and that is people’s free will allows the collective spiritual energy to flow and stand the test of time.

Signs that You are Awakened

Here are some signs that you are going through a spiritual awakening, therefore, being more sensitive and conscious about other people:

  • You feel detached or disconnected from things you usually enjoy.
  • You reevaluate your existing beliefs and reprioritize things in your life.
  • Your spirituality becomes more important to you.
  • You become more aware and intuitive.
  • You look for ways to be of service to others.
  • You feel more connected to others and the natural world.
  • You become more sensitive due to your senses being heightened.

There are people who are spiritually gifted that’s why they may experience spiritual awakening first than others. Don’t be discouraged though! Take your time and focus at your own pace.

Connecting to Your Own Energy

The need to be in tune with your own energy is why people try to reach and understand their energy field. Meditation is one way for a person to produce high vibrational energy that can be felt by other people in different places. While others believe in the relationship between their hair and spiritual growth.

This collective vibration expands one’s sensory awareness therefore one of the goals of meditation is to awaken a person’s dormant energy. When someone awakens, it is easier to connect to others’ consciousness and energy.

The Link Between Energies of the Nature and Spiritual Energy

Throughout history and different cultures, people use the word “power” or “energy” to describe experiences with spiritual forces, gods, volcanoes, or otherworldly beings. Some ancient and present cultures even identify nature as god (or the works of gods) such as the sun, moon, lightning, or natural disasters.

Other religions see natural energies as tools that god, gods, or non-human spiritual influences use to communicate with humans and other life. Some individuals even experience a relationship between natural and spiritual energy within their own conscience, motivation, dreams, and passions. This helps them search for answers that will guide them through their lives.

Negative Energies and Getting Rid of it

Negative energies could leave an individual exhausted both mentally and physically. As collective consciousness affect a person’s emotions easily, learn about what can affect your energies so you’ll know how to get rid of them!

Negative People

You have probably experienced both positive and negative energy from a person. If it happens to be the latter then you may have picked up on their negative emotion or even felt all sorts of negative emotion towards that person or group of people.

Solution:

Surround yourself with more positive people or create a new relationship with more positive people. If you think that your current social circle is affecting you negatively, then it may be time to rethink if you belong in the right group.

If it’s difficult to do so, you can always find ways to improve and maintain positive energy while in their presence. Surround yourself with an aura of positivity and create a positive environment like using humor for example.

Bad Environment or Situation

Whenever you watch the news, it seems like there is nothing out there but bad news which is totally a bummer. Experiencing something negative in a certain place can also turn your energies in the wrong direction and make you feel uncomfortable, therefore, affecting your mood.

Solution:

If you feel overwhelmed with all the negativity in the world, you can take a step back and practice letting go of the things that are out of your control. Instead of ruminating about what could and should have happened, start thinking that you can’t control other people’s actions instead.

You can also focus on other things that will improve your mood such as learning a new hobby, going for a walk, or exercising.

Unhelpful and Hurtful Self-Talk

Do you ever catch yourself negatively talking about yourself, criticizing everything you do, and such? These negative thoughts may not be real in the first place but you just can’t stop yourself from thinking about them.

These negative thoughts may range anywhere but are not limited to the way you look, how you perform, what others think of you, and many more.

Solution:

Accept the existence of these negative thoughts instead of blocking them from your mind. Blocking negative thoughts may seem the best option but denying them is more detrimental to your well-being than recognizing them.

After recognizing your negative self-talk, take control of your own thoughts and remember to not let yourself drown from them. Set your mind free by unhooking yourself from these negative thoughts, challenging them, and changing your thought patterns.

For example, instead of thinking “I’m not good enough” you may change it into “I’m not yet good in Math but I will study hard to understand the lessons”.

Collective Consciousness Towards Personal Growth

Each individual is a product of their thoughts, as is the world they live in. When people are able to release personal fears and judgments, they can find themselves more open to new experiences and concepts that have the potential to allow them to grow as a person.

Researchers are beginning to think that there is more to self-growth than what we experience through our individual perceptions. They suggest that, through collective consciousness, we can not only increase our personal growth but also help others to grow too. They also believe that this is because there are multiple people involved in one’s life at any given time, not just themselves and their immediate circle of friends or family members.
